“The video is shot in a crowded square of Italy. A lot of actions happens at the same time. It seems that everybody regular life is getting crazy, it's all actions at the borders between possibility and fiction. It's very hard to follow what happens at first, and all becomes like an abstract dance.
Each project chooses its specific technique, than idea and medium grow and make sense together. It's for this reason that I work with different media, and I don't assume to be technically specialized in all of these. I feel much more as a movie director who every time organizes different kind of collaboration, due to the script. At the first sight there is something shared in all my works, that is the tendency to bring all the elements of the work to a potential concentration of energy. As elements, I consider each single choice that public can get from the work, for example in walk in paradise, 2002, the choice of making a 35 mm film, as much as the reference to partisans stories or the kind of light in photography, the music, etc.
If I put together two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom, it doesn't necessary mean that I get a water molecule: it depends on the specific link between the elements and I'm interested in the intensity of the chemaical reaction.”
