Katia Bassanini sets up archetypal characters who reenact power struggles. In Untitled (surveillance camera) (2006, 4:01), the control over the dominated one can be reversed and interchangeable. Witnessing different fake scenes of humiliation, the viewer is confronted to his ambiguous position, powerful as a voyeur and impotent as a passive witness.
