Sven Wörner (DE)
Sven Wörner was, in 1991, among the founders of the Kommunalen Kinos Leipzig, since 2005 known as Cinémathèque Leipzig. Since 1997, he has been fully involved in the preparation of the Cinémathèque’s yearly programme as well as in the organization of special screenings dedicated to experimental cinema and film history. Between 1995 and 2000, he was in charge of both programme and selection of “Lichtschicht – festival des jungen Films Leipzig”. In 2002 he co-produced the exhibition “Bauhausleuchten? Kandemlicht!” curated by Justus Binroth, which took place at the Museum für Kunsthandwerk Leipzig and at the Bauhaus Archiv, Berlin. He is at the moment involved in the organization of “Der authentische Ort”, a film programme that will be screened at the Museum der Bildenden Künste, Leipzig.
